How the Vacation Reading program works
- Visit any of our library branches to sign up and get a reading folder. It’s free!
- Every time you read 15 minutes color in one of the ovals. Start at the top left and work downward.
- When you finish a column, come to the library and pick out a prize from our prize box!
- When you fill up all of the ovals, come to the library and receive a reading certificate, a coupon for a free kids meal and pick out a free book from our book box! You can also enter our Grand Prize drawing!
- Parents of infants and toddlers can still participate by doing any of the valuable literacy activities instead of tracking minutes read. All infants and toddlers will receive a special prize for participation.
- Return to the library by Saturday, August 1st to claim your prizes!
