|For immigrants with limited English proficiency, the Adult Education Program offers basic to intermediate English as a Second Language (ESL) classes which are designed to help the adult learner comprehend and communicate in written and spoken English for a variety of purposes and audiences, to express basic personal needs, and compose passages on familiar, personally relevant topics, using vocabulary related to the functions of everyday life. ESL classes are offered at the North Metro Campus, the Cherokee Learning Center, and the Bartow County Library.
