Rock and Rhyme Baby Time (Infants – 18 months)

CARTERSVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY PROGRAMS

Bartow Library Code Crew
This program is currently full. Please check back for additional sessions.

The session will begin on Tuesday, September 11th from 4pm - 5pm and meet Tuesdays through November 13th.

Learn coding for free based on code.org's approved lesson plans taught by a library instructor. This 10-week program will teach coding, problem solving, and teamwork skills through a variety of fun and engaging activites. Although it is not necessary to attend every session, it is recommended as some sessions build upon each other.

Ages 8-12. Registration is required. Due to limited space, please contact the Children's Department at 770-382-4203 x 136 to register.

  • September 11th - Intro to Coding: Through fun activites and puzzles we will explore the connection between code and what it produces.
  • September 18th - Sequencing & Debugging: We will practice sequencing and debugging code through online puzzles.
  • September 25th - Relay Programming: We will break into teams and work together to write a program.

Pokémon Clans
Saturday, September 1st - 2pm-3:30pm

Bring your Nintendo 3DS or Pokémon card decks and battle it out.

Tuesdays from 4:30pm-5:30pm

A+ is a place for elementary school students to get one-on-one homework assistance provided by local teen volunteers. Every Tuesday, kids can come for fun, character building games and activities and get the homework help they need to succeed! Kids Cook
