The Bartow County Public Library has a diverse Teen collection with the newest YA Fiction, fascinating non-fiction and a deep graphic novel and magna collection.   In addition, the library offers fun teen programming throughout the year.  All programs listed below are held at the Cartersville Public Library.

The library also features special teen programs at various times during the year, including an extensive Teen Summer Reading Program.  Please check back via the website or our Teen and Library Facebook accounts throughout the year and sign up for our monthly e-lert to stay informed on all of the library happenings.


Summer Reading Program

Step 1: Sign up at any Bartow County Library or online.

Step 2: Color in one box of your reading log for every hour that you read. Use the tracking sheet to list the books you read.

Step 3: For every two rows you complete, visit a library to receive a prize!

Step 4: Complete four rows and get an entry into a prize drawing!

Step 5: Fill in the entire log, receive a free book of your choice, and be entered into our Grand Prize Drawing!



Book Buddies-Will resume in June
The Bartow County Public Library is looking for reading buddies to read to Preschool aged children for the libraries Book Buddies program. The program starts Thursday, January 30th at 4:30 p.m. and meets the last Thursday of the month. Volunteer hours will be awarded for participation. Have fun and help promote literacy at the library!
