The Bartow County Public Library has a diverse Teen collection with the newest YA Fiction, fascinating non-fiction and a deep graphic novel and magna collection.   In addition, the library offers fun teen programming throughout the year.  All programs listed below are held at the Cartersville Public Library.

The library also features special teen programs at various times during the year, including an extensive Teen Summer Reading Program.  Please check back via the website or our Teen and Library Facebook accounts throughout the year and sign up for our monthly e-lert to stay informed on all of the library happenings.

Pokémon Clans
Saturday, April 1st - 2:00pm-3:30pm

Pokemon is played using either trading cards or Nintendo 3DS. Handheld games use Sun, Moon, X, Y, Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire, or Sun/Moon. You must bring your own card set or 3DS AND copies of the handheld games to participate.

Tuesday, April 11th - 6:00pm

Plan programs and help the library be the best place for teens! Have fun and get community service hours!

Game Night
Thursday, April 20th - 4:30pm-7:00pm

Bring your family and friends for a fun night of gaming in the Youth Program Room. Board games and cards will be made available, and patrons are also encouraged to bring their own favorites from home!



Book Buddies: Upcoming session will be on Thursday, April 27th at 4:30pm
The Bartow County Public Library is looking for reading buddies to read to Preschool aged children for the libraries Book Buddies program. The program starts at 4:30 p.m. and meets the last Thursday of the month. Volunteer hours will be awarded for participation. Have fun and help promote literacy at the library!
