The Bartow County Public Library has a diverse Teen collection with the newest YA Fiction, fascinating non-fiction and a deep graphic novel and magna collection.   In addition, the library offers fun teen programming throughout the year.  All programs listed below are held at the Cartersville Public Library.

The library also features special teen programs at various times during the year, including an extensive Teen Summer Reading Program.  Please check back via the website or our Teen and Library Facebook accounts throughout the year and sign up for our monthly e-lert to stay informed on all of the library happenings.

All programs are 6th-12th grade unless noted.

ACT Sign Up
This test will be held on Saturday, Oct 12th, from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Cartersville Public Library, 429 W. Main Street, Cartersville, 30120. Students need to bring a graphic calculator and a laptop/tablet to take the test with. If you do not have a device, please indicate and one can be provided. The test signups will be limited to 25.

A+ Homework Help
Wednesdays, at 4:30pm

Elementary school students get homework help from teen volunteers just like you! Get volunteer hours and help kids succeed in school! To volunteer as a helper text @aplusapp to 81010.

Blog Basics
Saturday, October 5th at 1pm

Learn the basics of creating and running an online personal blog! Ages 13+. Bring a device to blog on or take notes to follow at home.

Creation Station: Custom School Supplies
Thursday, October 10th from 5pm - 6pm

All ages craft night at the library! Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Bring a notebook to cover in a cool custom design.

Anime Club
Thursday, October 17th at 5pm

New at the Cartersville Library! Drop in, eat snacks, talk about Anime and watch an episode of your favorite show! This month's snack: Japanese Mochi

Scary Stories Camp Out
Thursday, October 22nd from 5pm - 6pm

Make s'mores, tell scary stories, and play fun Halloween games! Costumes welcome! Ages 13-19

Book Buddies
Thursday, October 24th from 4:30pm- 5:30pm

Volunteer to be a Book Buddy for children 4-9 and help them practice their reading skills. Contact the Children's Desk for more information.
