The Bartow County Public Library has a diverse Teen collection with the newest YA Fiction, fascinating non-fiction and a deep graphic novel and magna collection.   In addition, the library offers fun teen programming throughout the year.  All programs listed below are held at the Cartersville Public Library.

The library also features special teen programs at various times during the year, including an extensive Teen Summer Reading Program.  Please check back via the website or our Teen and Library Facebook accounts throughout the year and sign up for our monthly e-lert to stay informed on all of the library happenings.


Pokemon Clans
Saturday, July 2nd - 2:00pm-3:30pm

Bring your Nintendo 3DS (with a copy of the games you wish to play)or Pokemon card decks and battle it out with other teens.

Teen Movie - Nacho Libre
Tuesday, July 5th - 5:30pm-7:30pm

Bring Snacks and watch the movie on the big screen (Rated PG).

Teen Chefs
Tuesday, July 12th - 4:30pm

Make healthy, tasty smoothies to keep you fueled during physical activity. Ages 11-18

Get in the Game Night
Thursday, July 14th - 7:30pm-9pm

Drop in the Youth Program Room for a night of games! Bring your favorite board games or play the library's games. All ages.

Game On
Tuesday, July 19th - 2pm-6pm

Play video games on the big screen. Ages 11-18.

Teen Craft Night: "Go Team" Foam Fingers
Thursday, July 21st - 5pm-6pm

Make your own #1 fan foam finger to take to sporting events! Ages 11-18.



Book Buddies
The Bartow County Public Library is looking for reading buddies to read to Preschool aged children for the libraries Book Buddies program. The program starts Thursday, January 30th at 4:30 p.m. and meets the last Thursday of the month. Volunteer hours will be awarded for participation. Have fun and help promote literacy at the library!
