How the Vacation Reading Program Works
Visit any of our library branches to sign up and get a reading folder. It’s free!
Every time you read 15 minutes color in a honeycomb. Start at the top left and work downward.
When you finish a column, come to the library and pick out a prize from our prize box!
When you fill up all of the honeycomb spaces, come to the library and receive a reading certificate, a coupon for a free kids meal at Applebee's, IHOP or Beef O’ Brady’s, and pick out a free book from our book box! You can also enter our Grand Prize drawing!
Parents of infants and toddlers can still participate by doing any of the valuable literacy activities instead of tracking minutes read. All infants and toddlers will receive a special prize for participation.
Return to the library by Friday, August 1st to claim your prizes!
Important Dates
May 23rd - Vacation Reading Signups start. Programs start May 29th!
July 4th - Library closed for Independence Day
July 31st - Vacation Reading Ends.

Rock N’ Rhyme Baby Time - Infants to 18 months Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.
Toddler Time - Ages 18 months - 3 years Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m.
Preschool Storytime - Ages 3-5 years Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m.
Afternoon Adventures - Ages 5 +up Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m.
